Making a Difference in Winnipeg

Our goal is to replace poverty with hope by providing a means for our community to care for one another.  So far we have helped over 1500 families and individuals ... and the number is growing every year!

In January 2000, Charles and Sandra Norris began delivering furniture items to families in need in Winnipeg while volunteering with NeighbourLink, a World Vision sponsored charity that put people in need in contact with churches wanting to help their neighbours. Most of the requests were for basic necessities such as beds, tables and couches. As they began to provide for a few families, word quickly spread and it soon became apparent that a separate charity needed to be formed, and in 2002,with the support of Grace Christian Church, Hands of Hope Inc. was established.
